AFCONA-2021
AFCONA-2021 is a silicone-free defoamer for various coating systems. It functions well during the application of paints and lacquers. Also prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring, pumping etc. A well balance silicone free defoamer on compatibility and defoaming performance.
Defoamers Defoaming polymer, silicone free AFCONA-2021 has good compatibility with most resin systems. However, for better in-can clarity and dry film transparency, the non silicone defoamer AFCONA-2018 will be a better choice.AFCONA-2021 is mainly used in wood coating systems due to its good defoaming and acceptable in-can haziness.AFCONA-2021 is especially suited for solvent based coatings if foam formation is a problem when applied by spraying or brushing. AFCONA-2021 can be used in:1) polyurethane coatings, non- acrylic based for wood.2) acid-curing coatings for wood3) air-drying alkyd-paints for decorative and protective coatings4) stoving systems for industrial application5) NC lacquers for wood, general industrial and car refinish.
