Defoamers Non-silicone defoamer AFCONA-2290 contains non-silicone defoaming substance where it is designed for solvent containing and solvent-free systems of Epoxy, Polyurethane, UPE and UV coating. It has very good performance in defoaming and anti-foam.AFCONA – 2290 is recommended for:1) Solvent-free or solvent containing epoxy, polyurethane, UPE and UV coating.2) It is also very suitable for other high polar systems, such as NC and acid curing. For low solid and thin film application systems, crater must be check and confirm as this is a 100% solid defoamer.3) Due to its strong defoaming and containing no silicone, it is very suitable also for primer coatingAddition and dosage0.5 - 1.5% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 1.0% for solvent-free system and 0.5% for solventbased system, based on total formulationIncorporationAFCONA-2290 can be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good distribution must be insured.StorageAFCONA-2290 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
