AFCONA - 2507
Water based defoamer that suitable for clear coating and pigment concentrate preparation. AFCONA- 2507 is an organically modified polysiloxane with hydrophobic silica which designed to give excellent performance in defoamer and anti-foam in all water based coating.
Defoamers Organically modified Polysiloxane with hydrophobic silica AFCONA – 2507 have below performance and properties: 1) Suitable to eliminate process foams in PUD and polyarylic emulsion resins system. 2) Gives good shear force resistance. Suitable for pigment concentrate preparation and defoamer for printing ink systems. 3) It has low sensitivity against crater formationAddition and dosage0.05 – 1.00% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.05 – 0.25% based on total formulation. In pigment paste preparation, normal dosage will be ranging from 0.5 to 1.0% IncorporationAFCONA- 2507 can be added at any stage during the production process.StorageAFCONA-2507 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
