AFCONA - 2590
AFCONA – 2590 is an effective defoamer for
general industrial paints, wood coatings and etc.
It can prevent formation and destroy the foams
under the surface. And it can also reduce the
chances of carters and fish eyes.
Defoamers Silicone containing defoamer in emulsion form for water-based system. AFCONA – 2590 is a pre-emulsification water based silicone defomer. It can be easily prepared to water-born coating systems. It also can easily move to the surface and destroy the surface airbubbles in high viscosity systems. It is also suit for airless spray and roller to destroy small blisters. AFCONA – 2590 is recommended for below systems: 1) All water-based industrial paints. 2) Water-based inks. 3) Water-based pigment concentrates. Note: If added at the end of process, well mixing is needed.Addition and dosage 0.1 – 2.0% on total formulation. In general at normal condition, the dosage is 0.2 – 1.0%. formulation with pigment, the dosage is 0.3- 0.8%. IncorporationAFCONA-2590 can be added at any stage during the production process. And shear force dispersing is needed. StorageAFCONA-2590 should be stored in a cool and dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up for 2 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is indicated on the container.
