AFCONA - 2721
AFCONA-2721 is a special defoamer tailor
made for UV coatings. The carrier that used in
AFCONA – 2721 is an acrylate monomer,
which can take part in the system cross-linking.
It gives good de-aeration as well as good
defoaming properties due to the combination
of silicone and non- silicone components.
Defoamers Silicone based defoamer AFCONA – 2721 will not give too much haziness to the system and have good compatibility. Product Properties AFCONA – 2721 is a defoamer with reasonable good defoaming effect and good compatibility. This product is tailor made for UV coatings as the solvent used is an active solvent that can react into the system. AFCONA-2721 can be used in pigmented or non-pigmented resin systems such as: 1) UV-cure 2) EBC Addition and dosage 0.1-1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation. Incorporation AFCONA-2721 can be incorporated by simple mixing. A homogeneous mix will increase the efficiency. Storage AFCONA-2721 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 2 years from the date of manufacture.
