AFCONA - 2754
Anti-foam and de-aeration agent for
Solvent containing and solvent-free systems of
Epoxy, Polyurethane, coil coatings and wood
coatings. AFCONA-2754 contains non-silicone
defoaming polymer where it is designed for
Solvent containing and solvent-free systems of
Epoxy, Polyurethane, Coil coatings and wood
coating. It has very good performance in
defoaming and anti-foam.
Defoamers Solution of foam-destroying polymers, siliconefree AFCONA – 2754 is recommended for:1) Solvent-free or solvent containing epoxy and polyurethane for floor coatings.2) It is also very suitable for other high polar systems used in wood coatings, such as NC, PU and acid curing.3) Due to its strong defoaming property, in-can haziness must be checked before using it in Clearcoat.4) Also recommended for coil coating on the basic of PVC plastisols.Addition and dosage0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 1.0% for solvent-free system and 0.1 – 0.3% for solventbased system, based on total formulationIncorporationAFCONA-2754 can be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good distribution must be insured.StorageAFCONA-2754 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
