AFCONA - 2763
A moderate defoamer with less side effects. AFCONA-2763 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It has the combination of good defoaming as well as compatibility with most resin system. It is recommended for medium viscosity applications applied by spray and brush.
Defoamers Silicone defoamer with modification of fluorocarbon AFCONA - 2763 is recommended for brush and conventional spray application, very suitable also for systems ranging from low polar to high polar. It also gives reasonable good compatibility and clarity to the systems. 1) Epoxy, solvent based or solventless 2) polyurethane systems for wood, plastic, flooring and car refinish 3) airless spray coatings 4) stoving paints for general industrials 5) UV curing system especially for acrylate epoxy 6) High viscosity systems Addition and dosage 0.1 - 0.7% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation Incorporation To prevent foaming AFCONA-2763 can be added prior to processing. If it is added to the finished product, care must be taken to ensure uniform distribution StorageAFCONA-2763 should be stored in a cool dry place. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
