Eastman Tritan™ DX4101 is an amorphous copolyester with excellent appearance and clarity. Tritan DX4101 contains a mold release derived from vegetable-based sources. Its most outstanding features are excellent heat and chemical resistance, toughness, and hydrolytic stability. The chemical resistance of Eastman Tritan DX4101 make it an ideal polymer solution for beverageware and small appliance applications where sunscreen, essential oil, citrus, and alcohol resistance are needed in order to maintain clarity and appearance.
