Propionic Acid - Feed Grade
Propionic acid produced as feed-grade is required for animal feed use. It can be used as a mold inhibitor for formula feed. Propionic acid is a generally recognized safe (GRAS) substance as a chemical preservative when used in accordance with Feed Additive regulation 21 CFR 582.3081 and good manufacturing or feeding practice.
